Why use Homewright?
Well, it's just there in the name, right at home with Homewright, and being a wright I'm a craftsman of peoples homes. I value good work done well, and I enjoy doing it.
Ever since I was wee I've liked to make things and I somehow lucked out with becoming a carpenter. I get to make and tinker, and at the end of it, I've made a difference for someone and family.

Experienced Builder
I have been working in the trades for over 20 years now. From early days as a labourer on the old mans building sites and copying drafting drawings in his office, I worked as a painter, plasterer, and home handyman, before finally cementing my career in building a formal apprenticeship through BCITO and becoming an LBP.
It's hard to say quite how much building work I've done, but it's a lot. Varied too, as I've always sought out interesting work to keep the creative mind engaged.
Latest Work
So recently I've done some pretty normal buildery things. Decks, fences, new doorways, wall removals. That kind of thing. The latest big project was removing two walls to create a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with new doors and a pretty smart deck.
I'm currently working on an even smarter deck project in the city and have a few projects coming up that align with other personal interests... Did someone say recording studio? Hmmm..
